From 0 to iTunes in 5 weeks.

Five weeks is how long it took for my clearly insane tribe of four women to decide to “put on a show” and create, record, and launch a podcast, 4 Chicks Chatting, now available on iTunes.

Like most of us, my mastermind “chicks” and I approached the New Year as a time to reboot, try new things, and make plans to advance our businesses. Unlike most of us, these women (myself included, if I’m being honest), have a tendency to go big–really big–or go home. Every time.

To back up a bit, we met last January, when our mutual friend, Dr. Jennifer Gardella, decided to put together a mastermind of her friends to help us all to work on our businesses. As solo-preneurs, we all were on our own, so the camaraderie and support proved invaluable. And at least for me, it allowed me to stop talking to squirrels and start talking to humans again.

And what humans they are! A few incarnations later, and our mastermind consists of communications and DISC expert, Kathy Marcino, Curing Retinal Blindness organization founder and speaker, Kristin Smedley, photographer and brandographer, Robyn Graham, and me. (Yep, we’re still friends with Dr. Jenny Lynn and original member and VA extraordinaire, Denice Whiteley!)

In the past year, we’ve pushed each other, cheered each other on, and supported one another through good and bad stuff, both personal and business oriented. We’ve found such strength, joy, and smarts within our group, that we wanted to share what we knew and encourage other women to start their own groups. We couldn’t quite figure out how, and then Robyn said, “I think we should start a podcast!”

So we did. Welcome to 4 Chicks Chatting–A womanish podcast about business, personal development, humor, inspiration, empowerment, and whatever else enters our frequently inappropriate squirrel brains at the moment. It’s engaging, exciting and empowering, not to mention tons of fun.

I hope you’ll join us and share your journey; women working together are simply unstoppable. Meanwhile, enjoy this episode of 4 Chicks Chatting, and let me know what you think!
