I’m on the hunt for a new handbag and it’s been an arduous search.
Here are my daughter Laura’s hilarious thoughts on other ways a purse might be useful!
Ode to a Handbag
If I Could Date a Handbag
No troubles I would have
Everything I’d need would be in that little bag
I could open it when I wanted, and spend all of its money
I’d never have to kiss it or even call it honey.
When I got sick and tired of the size or the color
I’d go straight to TJ Maxx and buy another lover.
The end.
Laura just turned 26–old enough to know that sometimes a handbag serves better than a guy! Thanks for checking in, V.!
That is hilarious and adorable. I would like to know how old the poet is.
shoes and bags are surely the staples of life—–maybe Laura has a future as poet
